Zula is the independent one — reserved, self-possessed, never needy. She greets her human her own way: bob tail first, butt-first wiggle, no apologies. It's ridiculous and it's adorable, and it's the only welcome you'll ever need after a long day. She's the pup for someone who wants a companion, not a shadow. About her coat: merle is a pattern gene that dilutes random patches of pigment while leaving others at full strength, which is why the chocolate breaks into torn-edged shapes instead of clean ones. The same gene lightens eye pigment — that is where her green and blue come from.
